We are tentatively offering 2 sessions for January 2026:
2 Day Intensive Workshops- Saturday and Sunday, Jan 24-25 OR Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan 27-28. Complete 2-3 projects, $250 fee includes personal and group instruction and materials. Class hours are 10 am till 4 pm. Off street parking available in driveway behind Textile Studio. Bring your own lunch or take a break at one of our local eateries. Coffee, tea and snacks provided.
We have several Macomber multi-harness floor looms in varying widths and lots of gorgeous yarns to choose from for your individual projects. We will be preparing each loom with a different project- scarf or cowl, table runner, and dish towel. Each student will ideally finish all 3 items to take home and enjoy. We will have one loom available that is not pre-dressed for those who are more experienced and want to learn efficient warping and dressing the loom techniques.
We have taught many students/employees over the last 20 years in business and love to teach new weavers! Small classes (3-4 students) mean lots of personal instruction suited to meet your interests in types of weaving and cloth-making.
New for February 2026: If you’re a previous student and/or experienced weaver and have a special project in mind, we are available for consultation. We will provide personal instruction and guidance using our looms- fee to be determined by length and complexity of project. Dates flexible. Please get in touch! (fritlock at Verizon dot net)
